Desperate to save his family, a poor Indian boy is coerced by a local kingpin to sell his kidney. When he is cheated out of his money, he vows to steal the criminal’s bloody business, for survival and revenge.

American Filmmaker Michael Keller traveled alone to India, to make this crime drama in a slum, on a shoe-string budget. He did not know anyone there before he arrived, but was privileged to meet co-producer Srivinay Salian and recruit a team of talented collaborators.

Red Gold is based on real injustice that happens all over the world. Destitute people are coerced to sell their organs, often for a pittance.
